Jim Newman prides himself on being a business leader first and human resources professional second.  Because of this belief and philosophy, Jim has successfully helped companies develop and align their people strategy to their business strategy.

As a seasoned human resources and business executive Jim has extensive experience helping companies build and refine their human resources function as a strategic business partner.  Jim has developed the belief that the best competitive advantage companies have is achieving better Results Thru People by creating and implementing the right solutions to create a Performance & Talent Management Equation.

Jim has 15 plus years of corporate and HR consulting experience, assisting clients from multiple industries including insurance, business process outsourcing, manufacturing, technology, utilities, government, staffing, contact center and marketing services.

Jim graduated from Human Resources Management at the University of Manitoba and completed the Minnesota Executive Program at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.  He is the founding and past President of the MCCA and instructed an HR course at the University of Winnipeg.  He is also a sought after speaker, presenter and facilitator.

Originally from Canada, Jim has broad HR experience supporting operations in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.  He currently resides in Minneapolis, MN with his wife and two children.
